Term 3 Week 9

This was the end of term for gymnastics and Zico took pride in receiving his certificate. Zico has also been doing super well with his swimming where he is now adding freestyle arms to his kicking legs and is enjoying his new bike a few times a week. The Harry Potter obsession continues, we are now reading book 4 and Zico has been writing about the story everyday for the past 2 weeks. He has even made his versions of all the main characters out of lego. Zico's reading is going well and he is enjoying some of these early reader books from the library which range from level 9-12. 

Term 3 Week 8

This week Zico has been learning the difference between fiction and non fiction books. We used one of his books called Puppet Show, to inspire us to make more sock puppets. Zico has had heaps of fun on his new bike and loved showing off his great balance at horse riding too.  Zico loves playing snakes and ladders and also practising his facts to 10 on a rocket game on the computer.

Term 3 Week 7

These pictures show, Harry potter writing in Zico's new book. Fun at gymnastics, feeding eels, making number patterns with dice and having a go on an Argo.

Term 3 Week 6

This weeks highlights were a visit to Birchwood school where Zico joined in with a writing group. We also introduced connect 4 and a spelling jigsaw too. As well as some quality outdoor time.
