Week 6

This was a super busy week. On Monday we moved house so Zico was lucky enough to get to go to Mapua and Rabbit Island with Nana and Grandad. Writing for the week has been. I am going swimming. I can see 3 glowy bracelets. I am going on a plane. I am leaving my house.

On Friday we went to Wellington for the weekend. Zico had some many new experiences in Wellington. We went to the Zoo, Te Papa, the Cuba Duba festival, a japanese restaurant with a conveyor belt, new playgrounds and old friends houses. Plus lots of buses and his first real plane trip too. Here are a few of the highlights below.
Japanese restaurant with a conveyor belt. Zico loved watching the food go by and enjoyed his noodles and edename.
Zico drove a car by himself for the first time. He was meant to stay on the grass!
Frank Kitts park has the biggest slide we have ever seen and Zico was brave enough to go on it twice!
Zico and Daddy hired a scooter to get around the waterfront.
At Cuba Duba Zico got to play a junk instrument.
Zico building his own weapons at the Cuba Dupa festival.
Enjoying the wild wellington wind on the waterfront.

Playing a game of pac man and getting to play pinball for the first time too.
Trying new food including apple cinammon gelato.
A playground in the middle of cuba street.
Zico loved this amazing tea cup round about a the park near the Zoo.

Zico took this photo on one of our many bus trips.

Zico touched a Cockatoo at the Zoo.
Saying hello to an Emu.
Another slide, a blue tongue skink slide!
Touching a Gecko named two face.
Zico got to feed a giraffe.
His favourite of all at the Zoo was the Chimpanzees, "they are just like bald hairy people" said Zico.
Zico and Helena enjoyed spotting a slug at the bus stop.
Zico took this photo of Daddy.

Zico chose to sit with Daddy on the flight back and he read the instruction card so he knew how to stay safe.
We were so proud of how many new things Zico tried and the joy with which he approached everything new!
